myFestival Privacy Policy

My name is Mike Crawford and I developed and operate the myFestival mobile application.

This page informs you of my policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use my service and the choices you have associated with that data.

I use your data to provide and improve the application. By using the application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

What data I need

I collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve my service to you.

Location Data

While using my application, I may use your device's location service to determine your location. This is used to calculate the distance to a show or venue. Your location is used locally on the device and is not sent outside your phone.

Usage Data

When you access the application using a mobile device, I may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the following:

• Your country and the name of your mobile network provider.
• The identifier, bundle version, and short bundle version string of your app.
• The type, CPU architecture, and version of the operating system.

Crash Data

If you application crashes then a crash report may be generated and sent to me. The crash report will only be sent after asking for your permission.

The crash report will potentially contain the following information:

• Your country and the name of your mobile network provider.
• The identifier, bundle version, and short bundle version string of your app.
• The type, CPU architecture, and version of the operating system.
• A timestamp when the crash happened.
• A generated UUID to prevent duplicate crash reports.
• If an exception was thrown, the plain-text class name and message value of the exception.
• Low level crash data like instruction pointer, method or function names, signal data, pointer registers, and information about the loaded binary images.

Why I need it

myFestival uses the collected data for various purposes:

• To monitor the usage of the application.
• To provide and maintain the service.
• To allow you to participate in interactive features of my application when you choose to do so.
• To provide customer care and support.
• To provide analysis or valuable information so that I can improve the application.
• To detect, prevent and address technical issues.

I will not:

• Sell or rent your data to third parties.
• Share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Transfer Of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside United Kingdom and choose to provide information to us, please note that I transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United Kingdom and process it there.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

I will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

myFestival may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Security Of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While I strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Service Providers

I employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate my application, to provide the service on my behalf, to perform services necessary to provide my service, or to assist me in analyzing how my service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on my behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

My application contains links to other sites that are not operated by me. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

My application does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("children").

I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If I become aware that I have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, I will take steps to remove that information from my servers.

Your Rights

You have the right to request:

• Information about how your personal data is processed.
• A copy of that personal data.
• That anything inaccurate in your personal data is corrected immediately.

You can also:

• Raise an objection about how your personal data is processed.
• Request that your personal data is erased if there is no longer a justification for it.
